Doesn't have a point of view

guess who's back, lyndsay's back
I am back home in, what Felix cleverly refers to as, da 'Bra. Yes, back in good old Alhambra.

After sitting in the car for 1200 miles with nothing but one issue of Spin, I have a lot of thoughts to share. Before I do that, I have to catch up with what happened before I left Whitman. To summarize, I will try to list the highlights as I am no longer motivated to write a long entry.

Saw the sun rise with Chau while studying for biology.
Requested a song during Tom's 24 hours of radio time.
Another morning stoner!
Took my last final.
For a short time, passed out on the MECCA couch.
Went to Safeway with Eric to find hummus and crackers.
Found bonus Japanese drink with fun marble.
Sudden storm (real lightening!): Got drenched with Huyen.
Passed out on Luis's futon.
Awakened by Chau.
Wondered what Eric and Elizabeth's secret plans without me were.
Soon found out. Birthday surprise: ice cream with candles, lingere wrapped in a well-designed HP ad, crocheted flowers, and a Chinese yo-yo.
Yea!
Tired friends attempted to have fun by watching iron chef.
Visited the party at Hotel California.
Became thankful to have friends that appreciate running through rain more than sweaty drunken parties.
Science-Tea-Indie Music Trio sleep-over on Luis's futon.
Slept through planned Greek breakfast.
Woke up reluctantly to meet future house with Anu.
Said good-bye to Eric.
Went thrifting with Chau.
Purchased 50 cent badmitton raquets and sweet onion pins.
Discovered that Chau owns a vintage Schwinn bike that I can use next year.
Returned to empty German house to eat with Internationl Students & Friends.
Ended up barbequing mint-marinaded beef and Prawin chicken.
Ummm.... consumed large wedge of watermelon.
Storm arrived again.
Walked to From Bubblegum to Sky concert with Elizabeth.
Enjoyed meeting musicians and watching background videos + nodding Kevin.
That's about the end of the fun stuff.

After that packing and moving began. I did eat at Bangkok 103 for the first time with my house. Anu complained that the chicken in her green curry was not yellow and traded some for my pad thai. Good trade. I also now have a copy of the ever-so talked about disco song.

Right now, I'm searching for summer work. I am super excited that, if I do nothing else, I am going to take a graphic communications class at PCC. With that, I also have access to their library which has a copy of Plastic: The making of a synthetic century. Now I don't have to order it just to be able to read it.

Also, on the note of being home, it has only been 1 day and my parents are already trying to kill me. My mom put mustard greens of death, so hot that they make people cough and cry, into our salad tonight. My goal for this summer to hold my vow to productivity. Let's hope that I can survive long enough to keep my goal.

More later about the trip home.
