Doesn't have a point of view

adventures
I didn't realize how long it had been since my last post. I've been meaning to say something, but I've been really busy. Just as I thought that my work load would settle down a little, I found out that I am going to be the first in my instrumental class to give a lecture/presentation. I am already nervous about going up in front of the class.

Enough about classes. Last weekend was our four day break. As much stress as it caused me, I am glad that Eric and Elizabeth pursuaded me to go camping with them and Eric's friend from home, Brandon. I had not known that there were so many stars in the sky. They were magnificent. We slept under them which was nice, but freezing. At first Eric and Elizabeth thought I would be creeped out if we cuddled so close together, but it was fine for survival purposes. My hair still smells like fire and ash. The next morning we hiked up to the top of Palouse Falls which was a steep, but beautiful view.

This weekend, I had a similarly fun day. I just got back from my longest ever bike ride with Chau, Tuan, and Andy. We biked all the way to Bennington Lake along the Mill Creek Trail. The view was nice, as the leaves are just starting to turn yellow. As tough as I like to think I am, I thought that my legs were going to fall off, but I made it back. The trail back is mostly downhill so we cruised though the misting rain to the taco truck for horchata to quench our thirst. Tuan caught a little snake while we were there, but dropped it when it threateningly opened it's mouth.

Yesterday, I had an action packed night. First Elizabeth and I went to the outhouse unplugged. Then we went back to pick up Chau for Eric's party. We went to Eric's party for a couple of hours to hang out, eat sausage and potluck dishes, and to drink beer. Yikes. Yes, to prep myself for Professor Dunnivant's super bitter beer, I drank a cup full from the keg. Then, I was scared that I was going to act differently, but I think I made it through the night just fine. Next, we left for coffeehouse to see Lonely Pony. They had this funky song that said, I don't want your love, I just want your bubble gum. It was a great for dancing and really fun. As much as I get sick of seeing Drew and Mick in every campus musical performance, I was impressed. Then, we went to change into pajamas for Rainbow Rage. I wore my Felix slippers. There was hardly anyone there to begin with, but the music was excellent. But dancing is not the same without Eric, and we called him up. His party was sort of still going. Actually his drunk scary neighbor was just over. He came along with Matt Drouhard, Ariel, Casey, and the drummer from the Russians. I might safely say that dancing with them was even better than when it is just the tea trio. Oh, I said that we had to dance during I'm too sexy. Eric looked at me like I was crazy. I meant to not stay long, but I felt really happy and stayed til the end.

This morning I went to the last farmer's market. I finally broke down and bought this wool hat that I've been debating about. It was pricey for me, but at least I know that it was hand made from sheep that the people own. The sheep that it came from is named George. I already have plans to doctor it up to make it super snazzy. I wanted to put Eric's flower on it, but the yarn doesn't really match. Oh, today I also talked to Jerry online briefly and found out that one of his favorite Rolling Stone's songs is Paint it Black. It's good to be in touch with him again. That reminds me. I've been wanting to e-mail Jason P. but I figured it's best to wait until after the election. Speaking of the election, I am ashamed of Alhambra's politicians. Why do they have to be like that? I'm not sure who to believe. I'm strongly considering e-mailing Mr. Slagle or Kanow to see which school board members they are in favor of. Come on now. How can I really trust what Robert Miranda says?

That was long. Photos above. Parents will be here next weekend. Lalala.
