Doesn't have a point of view

Striving for productivity
I just received new year's photos from Karina. I'll post more when I return to Walla Walla and my wonderfully quick computer equipped with hello photos.
Yesterday I got to hang out with Trinh, my Jelly leader and still one of the most remarkable people that I will ever know. We went to get Indian food at New Delhi on Colorado. The food was pretty good, but I guess we were a little late for the buffet and left once they began to vacuum the floor. I wish we could have talked longer because there is no telling when Trinh and I will meet again. She showed me photos from her semester in Kenya and reminded me of the conspiracy that is San Gabriel High.
Oh! For tea club members, Trinh also gave me Kenyan tea. Thanks Trinh! I can't wait to try it.
Lillian! I looked at an issue of Giant Robot while at Borders the other day and found an ad for nucleus. I still can't believe that it exists in my town. Apparently another new store for vintage clothes and sneakers, the Lion's Den, is coming. Ooo! They are also releasing the new line of Poketo wallets at Nucleus. Ooo! Here's the website for enjoyment. www.gallerynucleus.com
I posted some photos on my website.
The rest of my break is consumed by trying to fit everything in to a 1 week period. How did it go by so fast? I had promised to study, but did not. I had promised to read, but haven't gotten too far. I am now kept awake at night with the fear that I may not return to my home in the SG Valley for a long, long time. Even if I am here next winter, I will be cramming for orals for sure. Bleck to orals.
I am 3/4 of the way through Middlesex. This book is not bad, but is a little slow. I am also annoyed by the point of view. Some how it excuses the constant use of parentheses filled by the narrator's little justifications. Parentheses have always annoyed me. I feel bad criticizing a writer like Jeffrey Eugenides, but I can safely say that The Virgin Suicides is better.
Ahh!!! The wonders of the Arcade Fire have reached the ears of KROQ listeners. Along with the raining skies, I will mourn for today.
I missed Lillian's show last night and her top 10 album count down. :( I accidentally uninstalled the volume control on my parents' computer two days ago, so I could not hear it. Blah.
I have a ride! Elizabeth is back in Walla Walla already. No word from Eric from his Minnesota journey.
Tomorrow is another rainy day in front of the computer screen. Look for another lonely entry.
