Dynamite: a Guest post by Sharona
I'm embarrassed. I sent Sharon a really late birthday card and apparently addressed it to the wrong house. How could this happen?? I've known her since we were eight! Luckily good ol' Alhambra mailmen can recognize names! I think this signals for sure the fact that I am going slightly crazy missing my friends back home. I should go to the thrift store and find a pair of magical pants that could connect the original trio. I thought Sharon was crazy with this idea, considering there are only three of us and we don't fit the typecasts in the novel, but now I am wholeheartedly supporting it. Anyway writing on a pair of jeans will be much more time efficient than calling because Sharon and I can talk for hours, which means I will have less time to take on being president of another asian-centric club. =(
Yesterday I had the scariest time driving my old car to work. I was driving merrily with my coworker to the lab when what I think was an opossum jumped out. I had to swerve to avoid it because, as most people know, I am a former Environmental club president and this would not be good if I made my own roadkill. Yikes!
Today I also had a craving for blueberry muffins. I daydreamed that I was baking them with Elizabeth. This may be a result of her birthday blog post to me which was filled with neon-iced muffins. This visual-induced craving reminds me a lot of my good friend Lillian. If you mention some sort of food, she will get a craving for it. This reminds me, I must post soon on my own food blog because Lillian has already written three. Must not let contributors overshadow my presence on my own food blog!
p.s. no animals were harmed in the making of the blog post!
