Doesn't have a point of view
7.20.2005

I scanned this photo from the front page of the Tri-Cities Herald. Every day, when I drive to work, this is exactly what I see. Okay, I do not see the group of peace marchers, but I do see that depressing black dome.
Tomorrow night there is a show in downtown Kennewick with this band called Gosling. They used to be Loudermilk. Under that name, they played in Walla Walla my freshman year and I also received their Dreamworks album when I was my high school paper's entertainment section editor. Neither of these facts give them much credibility, but I have nothing better to do. The only thing is, I don't know of anyone to go along with me. I guess if Elizabeth can brave the Portland music scene alone, I can handle downtown Kennewick.
I just received a very interestingly packed copy of High Fidelity. I decided to read this book because some guide for music snobs that I browsed through at a used book store in coastal Oregon told me to read it. I leave the world of Oliver Twist for my first try at a Nick Hornby book. We'll (or actually I'll) see.
