rain
Wow. I've been in the weirdest mood the last two days. I have been exceedingly happy which should be impossible. Also, I have had lots of free time. My professor of 2 classes has been ill for the last 3 days. I hope she is okay. That gave me 4 hours of unexpected free time and much less reading than usual.
Today it is rainy. This morning it was not and I was listening to weird music and wishing it was rainy so I could listen to some good rainy music like Frou Frou and Beck's cover of Daniel Johnston. I was just thinking about how happy rain used to make me. Rainy days were my favorite of all things. Now I hardly think about the rain when it happens. Today calls for the revival of rain appreciation.
Even so, I feel like being cozy inside and drinking tea rather than dancing out in it. Maybe I can just watch it out my window. ooo.
While I have a paper due tomorrow, I have ounces of creativity which I want to deal with right now. A blue moon poster and a future book for book arts and my expository writing paper. Eee!
So it's one more day until Paul McCartney. Just yesterday, I could have hardly cared less, but since Elizabeth and Eric are both out of town I am excited again. David and Alex are excited which is at least half the fun. Eric L. and Sara L. made me laugh a lot in book arts today and helped to entertain my shadow. I had to lead the high school group for club latino's shadow day over to the TEK and talk about how I got to college. I can't remember how I got here. It kind of reminded me how much harder I should be pushing myself for the whole graduate school/future life thing right now. Arg. Not a happy thought.
Now, I'm eating sour gummy pumpkins and listening to Matt on the radio for the first time because, again, class is cancelled and I always forget to tape his show. I miss when his show was on fridays. Fridays were wonderful that semester.
Yea, this post is boring, but I'm too temporarily happy to care. Maybe I've just been eating lots of sugar. Maybe it's waking up early or falling asleep late or fixing my bike or warm grape nuts or rice and eggs for dinner or birthday surprises or chau's facebook obession.
