Doesn't have a point of view

I ate an amazingly fatty burrito last night, but feel slightly ill this morning. The abanil burrito contained beef, lots of cheese, grilled peppers (some super spicy), beans, and avacado. According to Eric, it was nearly a burro. Yum. Someday soon, I will miss taco truck meals.

I hope I am not sick because my rice cooker is not here and Trinh is right about needing it to make myself better.

This post is about food because I have not posted in so long, but I have nothing exciting to tell you. That is not to say that my life is not currently wonderful.

Being an organic lab assistant is sucking up my afternoons, but it is great fun working with Kato, listening to Professor Wade's long stories about anything you can think of, and scraping up mercury spills. Last week, we learned all of the student's names and one of them added us on facebook. I can see our relationship quickly evolving into a new organic facebook group.
That was a joke. I maintain that internet interactions are taken too seriously and are getting out of hand. A recent example of this is facebook's valentines day announcements. There have got to be better ways to proclaim your affection.

Discovered through Y.A.C.H.T.: If you live in the SGV, you need to go here for me. How could a place with bottled egg creams, a large variety of root and ginger beers, huckleberry soda, and old-fashioned candy be bad?

Quick pop culture rants:
Green day won record of the year?! It is not their year. U2 won everything else!? I didn't even know that they had a new album (therefore, it is not their year either). This, along with Lillian's lack of a top 10 albums of the year segment on her show, proves that it really was a slow year for music.
I can't believe how many people care about the super bowl. It's not a bad thing. I'm just surprised.
Yoko Ono read a poem at the Olympic opening ceremonies. Then, Peter Gabriel played Imagine. ?!
Michelle Kwan pulled out of the Olympics due to injury. This makes the entire winter games less exciting.
