I have a lot to say right now. Actually, I just have a lot on my mind. I don't know right now what I should say and what I shouldn't. Anyone could read this you know. Here's my snow story.
We were having a little kwanza celebration that night at the MECCA but I had that environmental studies paper due the next day. I left for the library, skipping out on the kwanza fun. My excuse was that I was working, but my real reason was for the snow. The ground was covered in enough to touch and there was no way I was going to miss out on this opportunity. I also knew that Tuan would be studying there. All of Ankeny was white. It was amazing. I carried a tiny snowball into the library and dropped it accidentally on the floor. That just made me laugh. Then I saw Tuan and we went outside and threw snowballs at each other. Well, actually he threw snowballs at me, and I tried frantically to push the snow together in my hands. I said that I really had to do my paper and that we should come back out in an hour to build a snowman. After over an our, we went back outside with Luis. Luis wanted to make the snowman right in front of the windows, so we rolled it all the way down the field. When we got there the snow sort of collapsed. Never fear, Luis and Tuan had a new plan. They began to work on a naked snow woman laying on her side. That's when I saw Scott walk out of the library. I ran out into the field to throw snowballs at him, but ended up just throwing them at Amy Sharp. Then Sebastian threw one at me and I ran back to the library to help out Tuan and Luis who I had sort of abandoned. They were practically done and were already gathering admirers. That naked snow woman stayed there for over a day. I wish everyday was filled with snowy magic.
I don't think I'll get the KWCW job. I didn't expect so many to apply. As long as I have my Beatles show, I will be happy. Yeah for the Beatles and yeah for KWCW. It sounds like Brian and the rest of the current policy council have some great things in store for the station.
Now back to trash, dams, and water pollution.
3 more days and I'm done
I'm here again. In my room. I haven't spent this much time at my computer for a very long time. As always, I am distracted by the internet. I've been searching for nifty crafty christmas gifts for my friends. Shhh... don't let them read this. I've also been listening to MTV radio. Umm... don't you love those video hits.

I have an interview at the radio station in 20 minutes. I applied to be the archivist at the station. Who knows how much time I really have for this. Next semester I'm taking physic, orgo, and bio. Uh oh.

Why didn't anyone inform me of this? It's nice to see so many R&B artists nominated for a change, but I also thought that last year/ this year were revolutionary for rock. Can you even imagine the masses falling in love with bands like the Strokes 3 years ago? I belive that Coldplay and especially the White Stripes deserved much more recognition.
Ok, I'm off to my interview. Then I'm back here to study for my environmental studies final.

Sometimes I think that I have the power to predict the future. I went to my mailbox today and found 2 issues of the Matador waiting for me.
I have both good and bad to say about the paper. Center spread on clubs? They have the capability of doing something more challenging.
And, no football team in news. I had to dig into sports to find out about the team member that was shot. Yeah, people from SG were shot.
Oh, also it snowed. It's nice out. I hope it stays this way until I leave.
I'm back in the same place adding on to my essay.
Last night was so much fun. I have to crack down on the work. Now.

Ok. This is the last post today, I promise. I forgot the San Gabriel High football team. They are winning. Yeah. Can you believe it? Normally SG and win do not go into the same sentence, ever. Well, maybe when it comes to debate.
One more game and they are league champs. Yeah, don't fall out of your chair. This the best they have done since 1955 which I think is when the school was established.
My parents said that 3,000 people came out for the last game and that there were programs in color. And the programs were sold out.
This is truthfully the first time in my life that I have ever seen people, the community, care about my high school. Ever.
Let's hope that
1. It stays that way.
2. The Matador is using this their full advantage. Put the football team on the front page and mail me a copy.

hi everybody,
I recently got a request to post in my journal. I know that it's been a long time. Many exciting things have happened between now my last entry. Mainly Thanksgiving break. First, I will talk about my day. Right now I'm in the computer lab in the science building. I'm using an iMac. Ah, how they just glow. It makes me happy just to be near one. It also has this wonderful typewriter font which makes my paper more appealing. Today it's really cold outside, I think in the 30s. This, along with the fact that it is already dark is making me not want to go back to the MECCA. Tonight the MECCA is celebrating La Posadas, a Christmas tradition from Mexico. Luis is supposed to play his guitar and we are going to walk through the interest houses with candles. I can't wait. I'm also excited because even though it is only Tuesday, i have a little bit of my paper done. Whoo hoo.
Every day of the week, the MECCA is having a cultural celebration from a different country. I'm helping out with Divali or Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights. There should be good food and fun.
Thanksgiving break was a nice time to catch up on work. The best part about it was going to Las Vegas to see my grandparents and my cousins. It was also nice to see my friends again. Sadly, I didn't make it to the barbeque, so I missed Lillian. At least I got to talk to Xi on the phone. I can't believe he hasn't gone clubbing for so long and that he tolerates his roommate's music.
It's scary how recently, I've been listening to more pop like Kylie while xi has been subjected to the strokes, ozma, and weezer. The world is coming to an end.
I know who's going to be in the MECCA next semester and I'm so excited. As sad as I am that everyone is leaving, I'm happy about the new people that are going to be there. The most exciting news of all is that Jolene, Ahjane, and I are thinking of living together second sememster of next year.
Well, I had better get back to my paper. It's about my environmental studies field trips which have been so much fun lately. The last one was a trip to the wind turbines on the Horse Heaven Hills. The wind turbines are sooooooo tall when you get close to them. It was amazing. The week before that, we got to go the Boise paper mill. That was probably my favorite field trip. We got to walk through the mill wearing ear plugs and bright orange hard hats. Ok, off to write.
Oh, making my typing experience even more pleasant is this new CD that I got in the last issue of Rolling Stone. At first I was a little disappointed in the song selection, but now I am enjoying it all. Who knew how great Elton John could be.
I also found my Beatles Christmas CD which I depressed about losing. Yeah! I can't wait to play it on the radio. Last week, I found that KDub has John Lennon's Imagine, the soundtrack and the album.
Felix oh Felix, why weren't you at your show.
Brag of the week: I searched for the name icezorro on google and my journal came up higher on the list than Xi's. Hahahaha.
