This Thursday in food service they are serving Chicken Breast of Alhambra. Wow, it's chicken from my hometown. Or maybe Bon Appetit actually imported it from Granada, Spain. If it was really from my hometown, it would probably be prepared with Asian influence rather than Spanish. At least this creative food title is better than their Lady and the Tramp Spaghetti.

6 hours til the big test
Hi everyone,
Ok. I'm giving me a max of 5 minutes to type this.
Tonight we are having tea and mochi puffs in after-orgo celebration. Yummy.
Still, I hope to have my usual orgo ice cream cone. Sometimes they just don't have any decent flavors to choose from. My favorite flavor of ice cream used to always be strawberry cheesecake. Today I was in the RCC and saw that they had cranberry cheesecake. What could be better?
The whole reason that I'm writing is because I got a letter from my friend Kenneth. Whooooo! It's making sunny day even brighter. He said that the MECCA sounds like a "swanky dive." Oh, and is it ever. Thank you Kenneth!

Ok. I promise this is my last little indulgence in life before I plunge into my orgo studying. I just wanted to say that I read Robert Hilburn's L.A. Times interview with Andre 3000 of Outkast and Jack White of the White Stipes. According to Hilburn, they are the two most deserving of the Grammy. I agree, but I have to say that it is pretty optomistic to predict the White Stripes to take it. Thinking back on my predictions, I showed very little confidence in the Grammy voters to choose the best from their nominees. Now that I have read Hilburn's opinions I am even more excited for the show. I will link the full article after my test.

la luna llena
Last night was the full moon. The clouds surrounded it at night like a web of little puffs. It felt like a morning at home-- cold and fresh, just waiting for the sun to wipe away the frost. When you are in Walla Walla, you learn to value the sun. The night was almost euqally beautiful. And I sat facing the glass windows of the MECCA, drinking tea and listening to Belen on the radio. There is much beauty in life to be enjoyed. Sometimes I have to put down my copy of Rolling Stone, turn off my music and embrace the world around me.
Grammy's
Hi everyone,
I am listening to Interpol's Stella was a diver and she was always down. I called into Eric's show to request it. I had forgotten how different the version that I have in my computer is from the CD. My version is much more beautiful. Well, I'm here to upload my Grammy predictions, but they are not in this computer. Right now, I am busy studying for the organic chemistry test on Thursday and struggling to keep up with everything else I have to do.
This week has been a mix of both good and bad.
I feel guilty for not listening to Lillian's radio show yesterday. I'm sorry Lillian. I have determined that I spend too much time simply searching for music and after my bad day in biology lab I vowed not to listen to the radio for a full week. It hasn't happened (see beginning of post).

Oui-sir is playing tonight and I'm going with Jolene and Ahjane. I can't wait to see them again.
Plans for my website: I have a creative idea for listing all of the people that I have or may mention in my blog but right now I don't have the time to develop it.
