wrong. actually it is 4 in the afternoon and I am still trapped in the library writing a paper. Can you actually believe that I wish that I was studying organic chemistry. This is about the time when you know that I need help.

Anyway, I really love that song by ELO (Electic Light Orchestra) ever since it was used in that VW commercial. Now it's on the Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind soundtrack which confirms that I can be allowed to like it.

Next Friday, when orgo is all over, Oliver White (Lamplighter) is releasing his first CD at coffeehouse along with Mirah, YACHT, Thanksgiving, and maybe Jason Anderson. Yeah!

Expect another entry as my little paper-writing break. I must finish so that I can stop by Tom's birthday party.

quick quick quick
I find myself speaking in threes lately. Well, we all know that 3 is a magical number for groups. Isn't there some school house rock song about 3 being the magic number? I remember quoting it in my first ever in class essay. My favorite photo of Karina, Sharon and I is right about my computer. I smile whenever I see it.
I've been pondering and wanting to write. There are sticky balls in Walla Walla. :) There is a creep-out well in the German house basement. There is no place for me to live next year.
No, no, no. Maybe people have just been giving me more of an opportunity to scold them in 3s.
I wanted to write about music. I read about Ben Affleck in Rolling Stone. I lost some respect for the magazine after I heard Christina Aguilera say that their chart of her piercings was unexpected and inaccurate. Why did they have to call the cover headline "Surviving Hurricane Jennifer." I suppose, in short, that was what the article was about, but I expected it to show Jennifer Lopez in a negative light. Instead, it revealed some of Affleck's frustrations. I felt somewhat guilty for being so eager to read the article and joining the millions that worry more about celebrities' lives than their own.
Spin has this great tribute to Kurt Cobain. The photos are lovely and heartbreaking. I was upset about who they chose to interview in the friends and fellow musicians section. They mostly asked people like the strokes to comment. Why didn't they talk to Billy Corgan or something? They did interview James Iha who made it seem as if his only connection with Nirvana was one instance when they shared the stage. ??

I need to read about genetic diseases now.
