Doesn't have a point of view

whitman! yea!
I'm actually really happy to be back. Today was the first day of classes. Everything went well. This being the first day of pchem, I already had no clue what Allison was talking about. It was nice to see the old chemistry group again. And again and again.
My room is pretty much put together now. If you are a Whitman student reading this, come by and visit me. Our door is open more often than not. Photos of the room will be posted as soon as I move out the last boxes.
Until something more exciting happens to me, I will tell a summer story. Before I left for Whitman, I went to see the Presidents of the United States of America at the Troubador. They put on a rockin' show and even got the crowd to mosh. The opening band was not pleasant to the ear. Their bass was too loud and the lead singer seemed confused. Although wearing an ugly black t-shirt and exercise pants, he seemed to walk around like Mick Jaggar or the lead singer of the Hives. He also cursed a lot in his jokes which no one in the crowd seemed to understand. The second opener was Vagenius, who I have seen before. They seem to have picked up a wider following and I hope for sucess for them. The female lead used to have bleached blonde short hair but now has an extravagant black, half mohalk, half straight do. They have the makings of an L.A. sucess story.
That's it. Time to hit the books. Yea!

school's out for summer
I'm back!
I have happily returned to Whitman. I realize that having an increased number of close friends makes returning more pleasant. After only being at Whitman for about an hour, Elizabeth and Eric sucessfully hunted me down. We all had dinner together with my parents and Eric's mom at Bangkok 103, the only good Asian restaurant in the vicinity of Walla Walla. After the stress of moving, I was especially glad to spend time with them.
Chau's arriving tomorrow. For tonight I am alone in my basement. That reminds me. I should go lock the door.
Lots has happened to me since my last update. I'll try to mention some things in the next couple of days. For now, back to unpacking and near sleep.
