A quick note.
Elizabeth pointed out that my blog claims to be daily while it is far from that. I will have to edit my aim profile.
Eric had this in this live journal. This one's for you, Lillian, who made my yesterday happy.

Lillian has the best indie rock show on ucla's radio station so says their music director. So says me too. Listen from 10-12 pm Thursday nights.
I just registered online today. I've been spending way too much time stewing over classes. Allison, my adviser, told me to just take 3 classes after I spent forever trying to pick out a 4th one. But I cannot allow my slightly overachieving and masochistic self to only take 13 credits. After trying to find a class that fit and related to english, environmental studies, or science, I gave up and decided to take the garden of chinese calligraphy. My main reason for that choice was that it is taught by Ian Boyden who must be awesome because he is the husband of my core professor who is awesome. They named their daughter something that means laughing loon. How awesome is that? I was so set on registering for the class and maybe actually attending it, but alas it was somehow full. First creative writing filled now no chinese calligraphy for me. I was so excited to be like that guy in Hero with the strength of calligraphy which equals his strength in swordsmanship. Maybe I can talk to him about auditing the class.
I have so much stuff to do in the next 2 weeks. I don't know how I will finish it all. Final exams are one thing, but written work takes actual time.
I woke up this morning to snow on the ground. Snow!
The path to my house is so icy now that I can't walk on it in converse without fear of falling. At first I was unhappy about winter arriving, but the shimmer of the moisture in the grass behind anderson as my feet walk over it has made up for the soggy fall leaves.
Yesterday I met with the blue moon prose crew and we discussed our favorite authors, movies, and books. Yeah! It was almost as exciting as finding someone with similar taste in music. They all recommended Jeffrey Eugenides' second novel. Now I have something to read over winter break if I can find a copy.
Oh, also I did sucessfully register for ancient theatre. Greek plays here I come. I hope there aren't too many outgoing theatre majors in the class.
Time for shower + orgo before I fall asleep. No class at all tomorrow = more time to worry about my paper. Wooo!
Oh! before I go, my adv. orgo professor was talking about the new remake of willy wonka and the chocolate factory featuring johnny depp. First off, wrong. It is not at all a remake from what I've heard, but a new version of the story based upon the BOOK. yeah, there is a book, charlie and the chocolate factory, by the venerable roald dahl that includes squirrels rather than geese. Second, she began talking about gene hackman in the movie. Gene hackman? I'm pretty sure it was gene wilder. Arg, I tried to correct my misinformed professor but no one really heard me.
