Doesn't have a point of view

Ahhhhh! I am making apricot tea to fill my tea jar to put in my brand new JAR COZY. Elizabeth, this is the most awesome thing that I have ever seen. There are drawstrings and crazy lining and snaps and buttons and a muffin, of course. I am so impressed. Ahhhh! Posted by Picasa

back in walla walla
In regards to the lj post, I just want to say that I am slightly crazy because I am always very emotional when my feet go from touching the ground of one state to touching the ground of another in such a short span of time. Driving is always my preferred mode of transportation. Also, I woke up at 3:00 a.m. today to catch my flight which likely did little to help.
Now Chau is home and I am feeling better. Today I enjoyed my first ever rectangular muffin courtesy of Alaska Airlines. Yea! The printmaking side of the art studio was closed and now I am soooo behind. Ahg! At least my mom helped me out over the break and now I have a concrete printing plan that might just do Roald Dahl justice. Yea!
Time to write my travel essay. Should I write about a summer in a 2 seat corvette with no air conditioning and three passengers or about our spring break trip?

Eric's car turned 100 today! Yea for breakfast claws!
Elizabeth got to see the Mae Shi. Did Eric? I am so jealous.
This is the first break that I have made mix CDs for. Why didn't I ever do that before? I finally understand why Eric likes that Ninja High School song so much. I think might have been made just for him.

back to the sgv
Everyone wanted to know when I would be back. I was counting down the minutes. Then the Walla Walla fog set in.
I thought I might be delayed. I thought I might be late. I thought I was in for a long day of travel, but I was wrong. My mom called to tell me that my flight had been cancelled and for 5 minutes my world turned inside out.
Now everything is okay. My cousin is coming to pick me up and I am flying out of the horrid pasco airport to the even more horrid seattle airport to reach the wonderful gleam of LAX. Goodbye Walla Walla and its cold and its fog and its loneliness, for I am almost home.

your love is like organic produce
Aw. I am the luckiest girl in the world. Thanks Sharon for the GRE gook luck wishes. Thanks Robert for the comparison of me to a large hairy mythical creature. Thanks Eric for doing something in the last six hours, I'm sure. By the way, who in their right mind would give Robert access to photoshop? Check out his creation here.
At the same time, a cloud of worry and uneasiness hangs over my head similar to the clouds hanging over Walla Walla today. I hope that the snuggle ups or my new soft red sweatshirt will help me to temporarily forget.

Eric's award winning midge. Hehe. One more thing: I haven't talked to Lillian in a while. I fell asleep last week after Greg went into a discussion of Vanilla Ice on their show. Lillian, Paul McCartney is doing a book signing in Westwood. Go meet him!  Posted by Picasa

It's sunday and, as always, I have too much to do. I just wanted to mention that after the drive to Portland (man, I love car rides), I can't wait to go home. Seeing a city made me miss all things familiar. Also, during the show Paul McCartney mentioned eating at a Mexican restaurant in Pasadena. Yea for Pasadena. I feel like Christmas shopping in Old Town. Anyway, I just did a faithful google search and found that the restaurant was likely Mijares. Hmm.. I am pretty sure that I have been there, but I do not remember anything spectacular or outstanding about the food. Supposedly they have good margaritas which I could care less about. This led me to think about Okay Noodle and how it has been neglected for some time. Expect some new content after I return for break. I promise. Only 3 more weeks until I see Karina and Sharon again. Hip hip!

One more note: Eric's poster won an award and a fair amount of money over this weekend. Congratulations Eric!

sir
Hi.
I just wanted to let everyone know that if I am ignoring you, it's because I will be in a temporary Paul McCartney daze for a while.
The concert was amazing. I am very glad that I decided to go. Thanks Alex for setting it all up and David for convincing me.
I hope that I don't forget a single moment. Yea, so if that's all I mention in conversation from now on, it is mostly my attempt to keep the memory alive, not necessarily to brag tooo much. Just a little.
For a full concert recap, tune into my show tomorrow morning. Same time, same place as it has been for the last 3 years.

jump jump
I need to talk to someone about useless stuff and Eric is out of town, so I am telling you, blogger, instead.
First of all, I am super excited about Paul McCartney.
Second of all, I e-mailed my Professor for a paper extension thinking that my paper was due tomorrow.
I wanted to be done with it so that I can focus on GRE studying until the test.
Now, I discovered that it is due next Friday.
1. She must think I'm crazy.
2. I was all set right now to start working on it and probably would have gotten much more other work done in the last 2 days if I hadn't been mixed up. In fact, I'm in paper writing excitement mode. I already thought up a possible topic in 5 minutes. Maybe I should work out my next Shakespeare paper too. (ha)
3. I already have an extension. I guess I could quite possibly write it after the GREs instead of before.

Hmm... Hmm... What do I do right now? Pack? Set type for my book? Jump up and down?
Yes, I think the last choice is the best.

Oh, and I figured out why I am so happy. I had my mom cut my bangs when she came so that they would be the perfect length when I introduce myself to Sir Paul McCartney. I realized this morning that they are. Now, time for that jumping.

rain
Wow. I've been in the weirdest mood the last two days. I have been exceedingly happy which should be impossible. Also, I have had lots of free time. My professor of 2 classes has been ill for the last 3 days. I hope she is okay. That gave me 4 hours of unexpected free time and much less reading than usual.
Today it is rainy. This morning it was not and I was listening to weird music and wishing it was rainy so I could listen to some good rainy music like Frou Frou and Beck's cover of Daniel Johnston. I was just thinking about how happy rain used to make me. Rainy days were my favorite of all things. Now I hardly think about the rain when it happens. Today calls for the revival of rain appreciation.
Even so, I feel like being cozy inside and drinking tea rather than dancing out in it. Maybe I can just watch it out my window. ooo.
While I have a paper due tomorrow, I have ounces of creativity which I want to deal with right now. A blue moon poster and a future book for book arts and my expository writing paper. Eee!
So it's one more day until Paul McCartney. Just yesterday, I could have hardly cared less, but since Elizabeth and Eric are both out of town I am excited again. David and Alex are excited which is at least half the fun. Eric L. and Sara L. made me laugh a lot in book arts today and helped to entertain my shadow. I had to lead the high school group for club latino's shadow day over to the TEK and talk about how I got to college. I can't remember how I got here. It kind of reminded me how much harder I should be pushing myself for the whole graduate school/future life thing right now. Arg. Not a happy thought.
Now, I'm eating sour gummy pumpkins and listening to Matt on the radio for the first time because, again, class is cancelled and I always forget to tape his show. I miss when his show was on fridays. Fridays were wonderful that semester.
Yea, this post is boring, but I'm too temporarily happy to care. Maybe I've just been eating lots of sugar. Maybe it's waking up early or falling asleep late or fixing my bike or warm grape nuts or rice and eggs for dinner or birthday surprises or chau's facebook obession.
That's it for now. Red carpet photos later while I'm up working on my paper.
